[CRITICAL BUG] V33.00 rendered RR Car Spawner completely unusable

Summary

The v33.00 update made the RR Car Spawner (aka. vehicle_spawner_rocketracing_device) completely unusable.

ISSUE #1: The car does not appear until the player interacts with it.

ISSUE #2: The car’s skeleton mesh is broken (suspension).

ISSUE #3: The car does not drive in any direction anymore! It does not even boost or thrust!

ISSUE #4: Hitting the car with something else (physics base) makes the car float like a balloon.

Steps to Reproduce

Place an RR car spawner in a brand new project.

Expected Result

The RR car should (A) appear as expected, (B) not have a broken skeleton mesh, (C) drive/boost/thrust as expected and (D) not float like a balloon.

This is a critical issue, as is completely makes it impossible to release an experience focused primarily around the RR car spawner.

v33.10 seems to have addressed issues (1), (2) and (3). Issue (4) still remains.

Here are some images that I took today. Anything physical based will push the non possessed vehicle into some direction, potentially even make it rotate and simply float forever. Worked with hitting it with a bike, plane, boat, boat missile and another car.

FORT-830152 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 33.20.
