CRITICAL BUG: AI Moderation System Flags Official Accolade XP Device as Rule 1.13.3 Violation

Summary

I am submitting this report to highlight a critical, systemic bug in your automated moderation and appeal process. After over 30 hours of work, my map, “Zombie Pyramid” (ID: 9376-5016-1517), is being repeatedly rejected for a Rule 1.13.3 violation that is entirely false.

The evidence is clear: the AI is flagging your own official device, not my content.

My map’s metadata is completely compliant:

  • TITLE: Zombie Pyramid
  • DESCRIPTION: A frantic survival challenge set on a volcano rim. Players must cooperate or compete to eliminate waves of the undead surrounding the ancient pyramid base. Focus on horde elimination and surviving the perilous environment.
  • TAGS: Horde, Zombie, Survival, Co-op, Elimination

I will attach screenshots of all evidence (XP Device, Clean Thumbnails, and Rejection Notice) below. The AI is failing to differentiate between using an official, allowed device and maliciously promoting XP. This is a severe bug impacting all creators.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Review the promotional content for Private Version 9376-5016-1517 (“Zombie Pyramid”). The following texts were used, demonstrating ZERO mention of XP or misleading terms:

    • TITLE: Zombie Pyramid
    • DESCRIPTION: A frantic survival challenge set on a volcano rim. Players must cooperate or compete to eliminate waves of the undead surrounding the ancient pyramid base. Focus on horde elimination and surviving the perilous environment.
    • TAGS: Horde, Zombie, Survival, Co-op, Elimination
    • The Thumbnail (Attached) and Lobby Background (Attached) are clean, showing only the name of the game.
  2. Review the in-game device list for the island.

  3. Observe that the map contains the Official, Epic-Provided Accolade XP Device (Accolade Device - Default Setting).

  4. The automated moderation AI is failing to differentiate between the presence of an official device and the malicious promotion of XP, flagging the map based on the device itself.

Expected Result

  1. Review the promotional content for Private Version 9376-5016-1517 (“Zombie Pyramid”). The following texts were used, demonstrating ZERO mention of XP or misleading terms:

Observed Result

The automated system repeatedly rejects the map, claiming a Rule 1.13.3 violation due to misleading content. The subsequent manual appeal (ID: 13727311-f6b3-407b-9896-394bfdfe46b3) upheld the AI’s incorrect decision, proving a flaw in both automated detection and human review.

Additional Notes

I must stress that this is not a compliance issue on my end, but a core bug in the AI’s device detection logic. I have already wasted significant time trying to appeal a system that is fundamentally broken. The presence of the Official Accolade XP Device is the only thing causing the Rule 1.13.3 rejection. Please use the evidence provided to bypass the broken system, manually approve my map (ID: 9376-5016-1517), and expedite the fix for this systemic AI error.
