above combat collection now infiniltrated*, not just kpop collection anymore, just as they slowly took over new and updated kpop just cause no ones doing anything about them?
are collections not discovery? these 3-4 accounts have gamed it
posted yesterday, they had 16 in more islands kpop collection and this 17th map was added like clock work
The fix we need is 1 map in new and updated / week and bring back old new and updated which gave a map solid 1 million impressions. How are we supposed to get enough ratings to get into top rated if we get <100k impressions and 2 ratings? Also the survey/rating system needs to be reworked, it would be much simpler to force each unique player to give a like/dislike rather than some sketchy surveys with 2% chance and 2 weeks cooldown. Who cares if the creator rates his own island if he’s <1% of ratings. And then the most engaging is jammed up with clone maps that exploit fake playtime to get into top places.
Ugh verse code can be stolen? It’s bad enough the rest can be duped. Seeing all of this is so disheartening. I also don’t understand why Epic hasn’t banned obvious dupers and spammers. Why even spend so much time learning and getting better if this is what creators have to deal with?
The For You row for me contains several maps from the same creator and many more from their alt accounts. I have attached a video of the 100s of duplicate maps they are spam posting.
Are you guys reported these maps? one by one! maybe as a community, you need a group of people exactly doing this, finding spamming maps, delivering to you and reporting them. maybe work better in this way
that’s exactly what moderation is supposed to be for……
every report i have made is closed within 5 minutes, i only assume that is cause bridage reporting like you suggest is something account spammers would do first, so to stop that sort of abuse report moderation is really soft against them (and us) these tryhards generally ruin everything XD
It’s been well over a month that I last visited this thread with the hopes Epic would have done something… anything… against these scummy spam creators. And they have done nothing?

the issue is still that maps that are duplicates are showing up beside each other everywhere
the fix around oct 27th was done to like 4 tabs and seems working but tons still need this fix
and a fix is not just deleting them btw
I had a look today, and 2/3rds of the New section was creators spamming the same map.. and this has been going on for months apparently? Why is nothing being done? It would take a single employee a few minutes to ban these actors that are clearly breaking the rules, instead they are rewarded. At the same time serious creators are not getting discovered, and players keep seeing the same trash repeated in game, making it less likely for players to use the features.
A everybody lose scenario, and nothing happening at all for this long, absolutely disgraceful.
Well there’s another post that says they are addressing it but who knows. I just don’t think they know how to solve it
“MOST ENGAGING” literally all but 5 are spam maps and more to the point, how are maps with 0 players, “most engaging”. The thought process for whatever “algorithm” is used for discovery baffles me.
Unfortunately the spam is just clogging up everything, Even if they try to fix it if they don’t deal with the issue of account spamming, its all pointless. This was obvious 6 months ago.

they are starting to take over first person islands now. this is how it has begun in every tab that they take over.
i went into these maps, none of them are in first person.
deception is against the rules. so is xp coins. gaming the system is as well. so clearly there is no enforcement or these are the special privileged few.
@kalishane_eg @flak this thread is from october its worse now then ever, is there a reason these abusers arent getting banned they just are learning how to get beter in it because they never get punishment, all creators lost hope in discovery and for any solution actually, is this taken serious?
