Summary

When trying to create a playtest group to help test multiplayer. I ran into this error when selecting the “Playtest” option in the Creator Portal Project: [DEP] Backend dependency returned unexpected error errors.com.epicgames.content-service.adult_verification_required | correlationId: 2ee67535-031f-4c19-aeb7-49f7c089eb40 SentryEventId=5a305c57a9024eb29668f941c1938ac8

I did not see any other posts talking about this specific error so I am having a difficult time trying to find a solution. Any help would be great.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a map. Move Map over to new Team. Select the Project and click on Playtest.

Expected Result

The Playtest options to create a playtest would show.

Observed Result

Have you and the team owner passed the adult verification test?

I thought I did but maybe not. Do you have a link to the portal to begin the process?

I dont know if there’s any exact link to age verification but if you try to join someone’s playtest or team it should link you to verify, here’s a playtest link from a useless group of mine

If you see “Submit Age Verification” it means you haven’t completed age verification

I read the article but unfortunately it’s kinda NOT possible to change the age of an epic account, the article after reading was going offtopic and not addressing the matter at hand messing around with allowed game’s to play at age rating etc.

If you setup your epic account with an age lower than 18 but higher than 13 (or the equivalent of the age set by the local government) you can’t change it. Thank you, I did get in contact with support and was able to resolve the issue.
