Summary
My Fortnite Creative placement tools and textures become corrupted after a few days of use. Reinstalling Fortnite temporarily fixes the issue for 2–3 days, but the problem always returns. This includes:
- textures reverting to the wrong material
- props snapping incorrectly
- floating props refusing to stay in place
- some objects loading with incorrect states
The issue appears to be tied to my Creative profile, not my device. It started after my internet disconnected during a Creative session.
Repro steps:
- Build normally in Creative
- After a few days, textures and placement tools begin malfunctioning
- Reinstalling Fortnite temporarily fixes the issue
- After 2–3 days, the issue returns again

This issue only affects my account. Other players do not see the same behavior on the same island.

Steps to Reproduce
- Enter Fortnite Creative and begin building normally
- Continue building over several days

- Props refuse to stay in place or snap incorrectly
- Reinstalling Fortnite temporarily fixes the issue
- After another 2–3 days, the issue returns again
Expected Result
Creative tools should function normally, props should place correctly, textures should remain consistent, and the issue should not return after reinstalling.
Observed Result
After a few days of building, Creative tools malfunction:
- textures revert to the wrong material
- props snap incorrectly or refuse to stay in place
- floating props fall or shift
- some objects load with incorrect states
Reinstalling Fortnite temporarily fixes the issue, but it always returns after 2–3 days.

This issue appears to be tied specifically to my Creative profile. The bug started immediately after my internet disconnected during a Creative session, and since then the issue always returns after 2–3 days even after reinstalling Fortnite. It affects multiple islands and persists across sessions. No other players have been involved in building on the island, so all observations are from my own account.
