Creative Island matchmaking errors

Summary

One of my creative islands keeps getting repeating matchmaking errors even though the team size is fine and my internet. I am able to matchmake into other islands but I don’t understand why it’s happening.
I remember another creator had a similar issue but they made their island not playable anymore.
I prefer not to waste my creativity on this island and would like to know what is going on.
All I did in previous updates was redesign the whole layout of the island due to performance issues.

Steps to Reproduce

. Load my Elemental ZoneWars
. Ready up either in private or public lobby

Expected Result

It’s meant to load into my public map without any errors

Observed Result

I don’t understand why and my internet is fine but it’s causing matchmaking errors repeating randomly.
Max players who can join is 16
There is 4 teams and only 4 players can join each team slot.
4x4=16

I have seen a similar matchmaking error happen to Dahja’s Joy’s Dreamworld (UEFN island) but they had to make the island not playable anymore.
I prefer not to waste this island and understand why it’s happening.

I’ve also been seeing the same error 100% of the time for the last week on this island: 3815-8254-6961

You sure? I was able to matchmake easily without any errors.

Well my results of Matchmaking

Nintendo Switch 1 fails
Android works
PC works

The maximum is 16 players not 4 as you stated above

This fails all on Android, Nintendo Switch 1, PC Win 11

I probably need to re-word it. Max players who can join is 16 but there’s 4 teams and only 4 people who can be placed separately in the teams.

All together it’s max 16 players
4x4=16

Hi! I have the exact same problem and would like to argue here rather than throwing my efforts on the map in the trash, have you find any solutions so far?

FORT-928057 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

Hey everyone. Ik this is an old thread but I found something that I have not seen mentioned. Go to island settings > Mode > Matchmaking Settings, and ensure that “minimum players” and “overtime player target” are both set to 1. If this was helpfull, I would appreciate you checking out my Zonewars map 2689-4440-6334.

I’ve been having this issue as well on island 9909-6421-7669 it’s a large island with a lot of verse usually takes 3-5 times with matchmake error #1 before the island finally lets me in.

Thank you only works for some, sometimes does not work for others who still get matchmaking #1 error.

I noticed it was working. Got me very worried for a few days.
