I’m relatively new to Unreal Engine 4 and I’m still exploring options to achieve eyeglasses effect. I’m trying to simulate myopia (I’m using depth of field for this, looks good) and then eyeglasses that are eventually placed and fix the player’s vision, only in the area that the glasses cover.
As I said, I’m kinda new to this and I’ve searched a bit for options, without much success. I’ve found some “Render Custom Depth” ideas but I don’t know if I can use this to achieve my desired effect. I’ve also thought about post process volumes or camera post processes, but I’m really not sure on what to use. Can anyone suggest anything to help me start with this?
Here goes an idea of what I want:
