Hello! I am creating a project about a HUGE (hundreds of meters to few kilometers, exact size not known yet) cylinder-shaped spaceship, with walkable interior. But I don’t know how to make light source for a ringworld - directional light doesn’t work, even with source angle == 360 degrees. And point light just doesn’t work at such a big distances.
Is there any way to illuminate entire interior of a (huge) cylinder in a performance-friendly way uning builtin UE5 features or free plugins, so that it looks like sun in center of a cylinder?
UPDATE: By experimenting, I have found that point light works fine as long as ring isn’t too big. R=500m is fine, R=1km starts to flicker. However, Sky Atmosphere is not working without directional light.
