Creating a mirror in VR using Unreal 5

I am trying to create a mirror that will work in VR (Unreal 5).

Here’s what I did so far:

  • Activated “Support global clip plane for planar reflections” in the Project Settings
  • Created a new mirror material with planar and high-quality reflections activated (looks very shiny)

Then added an SM cube to the scene and applied the material. Also added and rotated a PlanarReflection Actor and placed it in front of the mirror.

In the viewport, the “mirror” works perfectly… but in VR the reflections are all weird (perspective is off and the textures are moving when I move my head).

Perhaps I am missing a simple setting somewhere?

I tried that too, but my projects shuts down when I play
in Runtime, so no idea :confused:
