Hey guys,
i want to make lighting for my own scene and take in the end a cool render result out of it but i dont know where to start first to get all right and well done. i put my scene in a first person start level and deleted all BSP and objects. i got now only my scene, and all assets i created for the scene in it. i also placed some SphereRefelctionCaputes
i got also these things and i dont touched them actually:
-first person controller
(Lighting):
-DirectionalLightStationary
-LighmassImportanceVolume
(RenderFX):
-AtmosphericFog
-Global PostProcess
-SkySphereBlueprint
i have these questions:
-
how can i set my scene that i only got the light from the sun and the lights i place myself?
-
what abou the self illuminating stuff. is it active or not? where can i check it
-
How to create realistic reflctions and let only the sun light or the light from the outside come through my windows?
-
does i only need to build the light after setting all up correctly?
-
how can i change the background from the SkySphere to take my own HDRI in it. maybe to have a city or something which i can see when i look out of my scene windows?
