Crashing when launching a project.

Since this morning, when I open my project, it gets to 80%, then it crashes and gives me this error message. I really dont want to have to restart, or abandon this project because of this. Please help! Thanks.

Well what i did is i launched my project (i did no edits), then my power went out. And when i went to relaunch it, it crashes now.

Ive had that issue and in my case it was caused by a certain asset. Tree Asteria Balsa Tree C
It would only cause issues on some systems.

Help with UEFN Crashing when opening project!

Not sure if this is related but i had a similar issue. Some people could open the project and some not. People affected where usually people on older systems. Even the memory address of the exception was the same. In our case it was caused by this asset which im guessing is using some shader magic that certain graphics cards wont tolerate. If you arent using this asset i would suggest trying to delete intermediate files since it sounds like the issue could be caused by the crash.
Other things to try are making sure your graphics drivers are updated and resetting settings in nvidia control panel.

Yeah, i updated my graphics drivers yestarday, and still didnt work. But how would i delete my intermediate files? where do i find that. Thanks!

If youre using version control the easiest way is probably to just delete and redownload the project.
I know theres some intermediate files in AppData\Local\UnrealEditorFortnite\Intermediate

Oooh. I do remember placing one of those rubber Asteria Balsa Tree’s. Do you know how you would remove that without opening the project?
