Crash when playing in VR with DirectX12 enabled

I am working on upgrading a VR project to use Nanite, and when I enabled set the default RHI to DirectX 12. The project crashes and I’m left with a black window, I’m then forced to force close the project. Any ideas on why this is? I have sm6 and nanite enabled. The same thing happens even if I don’t have Nanite Meshes in the scene.
