Hello, I have been working on an ARK: Survival Evolved map for about 6 months now and yesterday after finishing up some volume work in my volume sublevel I saved all my levels and did a manual backup. then I had a lockup happen after selecting too many assets in the map at once so I force closed the editor through the task manager and when I reloaded the editor and my persistent level I get an error followed by an editor crash when trying to load my terrain sublevel. I replaced the terrain level with my backed up version and I still get the crash. and there is no auto backup of that particular sublevel in the auto backup folder… my only working backup of that particular sublevel file is months old and incredibly out dated…
Im just curious if there is anyway to either debug a corrupted umap file, or somehow extract the heightmap from it so I dont have to attempt to re sculpt months of terrain work…
any help is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is any other info you might need to help
