Crash during PathTracing

Trying to resolve a crash during PathTracing the Small City level in the City Sample project.
Monitoring GPU usage in Task Manager doesn’t seem that I am maxing out memory, but I do get spikes in the 3D portion of the Task manager GPU pane.

I’ve reduced pathTracing quality to low, ie only 128 SamplePerPixel, etc.
Any render experts able to suggest further troubleshooting steps?
