i have multiple materials set up using tesselation and i have to set them to “crack free tesselation” otherwise the edges split. when i put these materials on revit 2019 datasmith imported static mesh they dont show up unless i bake the materials upon which they appear without tesselation, however if i untick crack free tesselation they appear but have split seams. the materials work fine on the starter content static mesh cubes so am not sure what the problem is.
Same problem using static meshes with Revit 2020. Does anyone know the answer to this?
The answer is to check Build Adjacency Buffer in each static mesh you import via the Static Mesh editor in Unreal. See:
and
Build Adjacency Buffer in the statis mesh editor for object in question. See
