well… It is still not available in Epic Launcher - the tab does not open anything. Or am I wrong?
Hey, sorry to hear that. We have a few similar reports. Most were fixed by simply restarting the Epic Games Launcher. Also, make sure that “Hide Game Library” is unchecked in the launcher settings.
If the above didn’t help, we might need more info to troubleshoot the problem. From which country are you trying to download RealityCapture? Also, you don’t happen to use a Mac? RealityCapture will only work on Windows.
If none of the above applies to you, you could provide us with your launcher logs and reach out to us here. To obtain the logs follow these steps:
- Open the Epic Games Launcher
- Select Settings (Gear icon in lower left on Unreal Engine section of launcher or under Account Icon in upper right on Store)
- check the Enable Debug Logging box
- A pop-up will appear
- Click the Enable Now button
- Reproduce the issue you’re experiencing
- Return to Settings in the Epic Games Store Launcher (steps 1-3)
- Select Show Logs
- Zip the contents and send them to us
I hope this helps, let us know if this solved your problem.
Cheers!
I had this issue but have resolved it by completely removing the Launcher. On reinstall it all worked fine. Assume either updated or this initial install didn’t download assets correctly
I have removed , the install , deleted all epic files from all directory , then re-installed and works ! Thanks!
Uninstalled the Launcher -wiped all Unreal installations, be aware!- on reinstallation, still the RC tab doesn’t make anything.
Going for the logs route.
Thanks
EDIT: for reference, also deleted all Epic data on %localappdata% when uninstalling
I am having the same issue, clicking on the tab in the Epic Launcher doesn’t open the RealityCapture page, it is unresponsive.
Just verify that the Game Library is enabled on Epic Launcher. That fixes the bug, meanwhile.
That actually made the RealityCapture button work! Didn´t even restart anything.Thanks.
Enable Game Library
Very strange. I was able to get it to work by navigating the the launcher settings and unchecking “Hide Game Library”
Hi,
I confirm, for me everything work if i Enable Game Library or for french people " Masque la bibliothèque de jeux" n’est pas coché.
bye,
I’m having an issue where no matter what steps I’ve tried of reinstalling, updating, uninstalling, etc Reality Capture 1.4 won’t launch. I follow the steps to submit logs but the inquiry portal doesn’t show the 1.4 version as an option and won’t accept zipped logs as a file format to upload. Any other ideas?
Has RealityCapture been successfully installed on your PC? Do you see the Capturing Reality folder in the Program Files?
