Could you explain why macOS might be less compatible with Twinmotion compared to Windows, and whether this situation is likely to improve in the future? Will there be upcoming updates to enable Mac users to fully utilise features like ray tracing/path?

I am reaching out to seek assistance with a recurring issue I am experiencing while running Twinmotion on my MacBook Pro. Despite meeting the necessary system requirements, I am facing significant challenges that prevent the application from functioning properly. Here are the specifications of my MacBook Pro: * Model: MacBook Pro 16-inch, November 2023 * Chip: Apple M3 Pro * Memory: 36GB * Operating System: macOS Sonoma 14.4 The specific problems I am encountering include frequent crashes of Twinmotion and occasional spontaneous restarts of the entire Mac. These issues occur even when working with relatively small models. I typically use SketchUp for modelling and then import these models into Twinmotion. I have attempted to run the software on low-quality settings, but the surfaces in the model often glitch. Notably, I have tested the same model on a PC, and it runs perfectly smooth, leading me to conclude that the macOS system might not be as compatible with Twinmotion as Windows. Given my MacBook Pro’s specifications, I should be able to utilise ray tracing, as the M3 chip supports this feature. However, I am currently unable to raytrace/pathtrace in Twinmotion. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on resolving these issues. Specifically: * Are there any steps I can take to improve Twinmotion’s performance on my Mac? * Could you explain why macOS might be less compatible with Twinmotion compared to Windows, and whether this situation is likely to improve in the future? * Will there be upcoming updates to enable Mac users to fully utilise features like ray tracing/path tracing in Twinmotion? Thank you very much for your support. I look forward to your response. Best regards, Oksana Pavlovska.
