Corso's Office

Hello, made this a couple weeks ago. Based on the book “The Day After Roswell,” was hoping to get some feedback on what I can improve on?

Hi there @SethLBrown,

Hope you’re doing well and having a great week so far

I wanted to hop in and offer a compliment instead of improvement advice. I think this looks great. The different lighting, use of color, and tiny details made this environment feel lived in and polished.

Great work! How long did this project take to create?

Thank you I appreciate the compliment! The project took around a month and a half. Mainly just learning methods and understanding UE5.

Oh wow, great work for such a short amount of time!

Also, huge thanks for taking a moment to share this project. It’s always such a great experience getting to take a peak at someone’s art

Thanks man! You’re too kind. :grinning: I’m still planning on more projects in the future!

I look forward to seeing them. Happy developing until then

Sorry to revive this post but Im needing guidance. I rarely ask for help so here goes nothing. I decided to go back to this project to relight it. What can I do to improve my lighting and quality? Are there any good books and tutorials on lighting? I really want to finish this, but I’m yanking my hair out. Any help would be appreciative.

Hi again @SethLBrown,

The lighting turned out great! Whatever you did worked wonders. That first picture, specifically, is just gorgeous. The warmth and hazy-ness are done in such a polished and professional way. Beautifully done. So cool to have been able to watch as it developed.

Out of curiosity, do you plan on creating another project soon or are you taking a break after this one?

Nice lighting, looks very ‘modern Team Fortress 2’ if that tracks.

Hey Panda! Thank you, I’m glad you like it! Gotta say that I’ve learned a lot about Ue5 and I purchased some books on fundmentals of art for future projects and the next project I stared on.

Thank you! Really enjoy creating atmospheres.
