You’re right.Well founder off Epic Games Sweeney and Mark Rein won’t buy licence to Disney like George Lucas did with Star Wars.I think if i’m not wrong they made hd remake of EarthWorm Jim,but clone is Advance.So I realized this company Gameloft might hd remake of original classics.

I also wondered when reading this thread, I’ve experience with game forum, if such comments were made, everyone would jump upon him/her, make fun of him, bush and even some what to bullying.
umm, I don’t think they would, the motivation is to copy the current thing that is doing pretty good in current situation and in current platform, that’s been said to minimize the risk of investing time & money. Getting license of such old game involve hugh risk, that is actually not justified unless you’re a lover of that game who really want to see that game rebuild, I think most of the game developers tries to catch the current trend. There’s hugh difference between comparing Star War with whatever game you mentioned, Star War is still a hugh thing, it’s not dead atall.

I don’t think anyone cares about that much, many old games don’t stand up to the games of today even if you were to have new graphics
If you really that much serious, you should mail epic game (just find one appropriate,I did not researched) and of course in proper English with a decent plan, Epic Games seems to be very nice, so may be they grant you to do so, royalty may be there, that should not bother you.
But the problem is, it’s looking like other studios were also involved & they know their internal copyright terms, but atleast you can get a proper answer from epic. Keep in mind that whatever I said here is my personal opinion, epic may interact with it totally differently 
it’s hard to say,but sometimes are people who loves games with worse graphics,but with unique storyline.It’s difficult to make prefect game with the best storyline and graphics because nowadays it results game bugs wich is wasting of time-they making random video games to earn money without any efforts.You told me video game developers are eating their projects.Now let’s compare large amount of imagination of Steven Spielsberg and George Lucas movies with Michael Bay and J.J.Abrams caring about only visuals and special effects.Guys like George Lucas could say"lack of imagination"…“lack of creativity”.Maybe this could be insulting words to beginning unexperienced game developer more than me.Well Mark Rein and Sweeney could mind another option than me.It’s odd how Epic Games treat official fangames, ignorance of fangames than penalty payments.Plan is first,but I also need a time and putting more effort on creative storyline.I think Blues The Cat should be lock-on of Possum mechanicsfrom jazz2online.
