Summary

When copying a device and pasting it, deleting the original copy, the attempting to remove the number at the end of the device’s name prevents the device from being renamed without placing a space at the end of it.

Steps to Reproduce

Place a Device in a Creative Island
Copy the device, and place it
Delete the original copy
Attempt to rename the copied version by removing the number
It will do nothing, and manually pressing OK will just back you out, not saving any changes.

Expected Result

You should be able to rename the device to the previous device’s name.

Observed Result

You are unable to rename the device without placing a space at the end of it.

i think i had issues with this at one point

Update; The newest Creative update now also has this bug directly effecting this too.

When selecting multiple devices, not only does it break the naming issues, but it can also creates duplicates, making it more annoying.

FORT-1084628 has been ‘Backlogged’. This is an issue we’d like to address in the future.
