Copied devices do not keep events from original devices.

Summary

Whenever I copy a device, whether its only one or multiple together, the copied device(s) do not keep events from the original device(s) unless it was from a device that was copied together with it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Place 2 of any devices with functions and events

  2. Make one device trigger a function on an event from the other device

  3. Copy the device with the event

Expected Result

The copied device keeps the events and both the original device and the copied device can trigger the function on the other device.

Observed Result

The copied device loses the events and only the original device can trigger the function on the other device.

It works fine with functions, and it seems like this has been an issue for a while but I haven’t been able to find any fix to it
