So I’ve been playing around in the engine just trying to see what I can do. I’ve been using the Engine for almost 2 years now so I’m somewhat familiar with it, so I’m just trying to mess around and create little things and learn some stuff. But anyway, I created a simple level with some sculpted a landscape and a few actors in the world. I wanted to see if there was a way to “revert” the level back to a non-level-partitioned level. I know there isn’t a way to actually revert it back, but I didn’t know if there was a workaround. The most I’ve gotten is copying everything in the world outliner and pasting it into a new level, but it doesn’t keep the landscape. Is the landscape now only locked in level partition forever and I’d have to remake the landscape or is there a way to somehow copy it over or another method? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Go to landscape mode and export the heightmap and paint layers to images. Then reimport in the new level.
