[CONTRACT/PAID] Looking for Animator for FPS Weapons

We’re currently looking for a talented animator to join our team and help bring our upcoming first-person shooter (FPS) game to life. The project is being developed in Unreal 5.4, and we’re aiming to deliver high-quality, realistic animations for our characters and gameplay mechanics.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with animating characters and weapons for FPS games.
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine’s animation tools (e.g., Sequencer, Control Rig, Animation Blueprints).
  • Knowledge of creating smooth, responsive animations for first-person and third-person perspectives.
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of integrating animations into the Unreal Engine pipeline.
  • Ability to collaborate with designers, modelers, and programmers to ensure animations fit seamlessly into the game world.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous animation work, particularly in FPS or similar action-based games.

Responsibilities:

  • Animate characters, weapons, and player movements (running, shooting, reloading, melee, etc.).
  • Work with the team to refine and polish animations based on feedback and testing.
  • Ensure animations are optimized for real-time performance without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain consistency in style and feel across all animations.

Bonus Skills (not required, but a plus):

  • Experience with motion capture data integration.
  • Knowledge of blending animations for smooth transitions.
  • Experience with animation optimization for performance in Unreal Engine.
