We’ve started getting into Unreal last week and… mind = blown . We’ve been using Unity for a while but Unreal blows it out of the water.
We work with Maya and Max and use meter scale in both packages. However, Unreal uses CM.
I’ve found that simply setting the units in FBX exports to cm, imports the the objects the correct scale. Is this ok? Can there be any issues if not working in cm in Maya/Max.
I want to set up a consistent pipeline where we don’t have to worry about scene scales when bringing content from Maya and/or Max into Unreal, while still working in meter scale in Maya and Max.
Any advice would be great.
