Hi, I am an architecture student and totally new to UE4. I had the idea to make a short video of my designed building but I have some problems with the lighting of my geometry when importing it. Maybe you guys could tell me which way would be the smartest to get a proper scene.
My geomerty is generated in grasshopper for rhino (no material thicknes) and then exported to maya as obj (I tried to auto generate uv maps in maya and in cinema4d) and then exported to UE4 as fbx. For me it is importend to get good lighting results and I am not very interested in fast game for example. So I thought about using just dynamic lights if this makes sense?! Or how could I get the best lighting results - and/or uv maps for my geometry?
I couldnt even manage to upload images here… so here is a link of the geometries (I am talking abot this latex-tent thing and the metal skeleton…): Private Site
ps: I am not relly used to forums and how the rules are, I hope i posted it in the right place.
