[Compatibility List] Unreal 4 - Hardware Feedback

I’m actually REALLY interested in because I am definitely looking at upgrading my machine to do some Unreal Engine work. I was told by Unreal that on the site was Recommended, and not Minimum…so I figured I would give it a whirl since I’m running items like Blender, Maya trials, Photoshop, and such.

Notes: is an older machine that I am looking at upgrading, but figured I would take a . It actually runs fine for a few examples, but my video shuts off and have to hard shutdown machine. I believe I am actually overheating the card and it hits it’s safety and shuts down since I think my cooling is bad. Did the same thing to me when I attempted UDK 3.

**EDIT: **Confirmed…my graphic card starts hitting like almost 98c when I started .

EDIT 2: I cleaned out a dust b-u-n-n-y (apparently the full word is marked as offensive?) the size of a small rodent…and now my card hits about 65-70c and in the Office Blueprint I can run Epic settings hitting 20-30fps and Medium gives me about 30-45 fps – Good enough to work on some basic items, etc. Just have to watch my heat!

Downloading now on my MacBook to see if any improvements
