Summary

When the Compact SMG was added back with 38.00, it was made to be just a copy of the high tier submachine gun instead of its own stats, animations, etc. It also uses its Chapter 1 Season 8 look instead of its updated Chapter 2 Season 1 look.

  1. Grab the high tier submachine gun.
  2. Grab the Compact SMG.
  3. Grab the Heisted Run N Gun SMG.
  4. Get a video of the old Compact SMG
  5. Compare and contrast them.

Expected Result

Compact SMG has different stats and animations than the High Tier Submachine Gun and has its updated look.

Observed Result

Compact SMG is a copy of the High Tier Submachine Gun and has an old look.

Additional Notes

The Compact SMG uses “Pistol_Light_PDW_Athena_C_Ore_T03” when it’s suppose to be “Pistol_AutoHeavyPDW_Athena_C_Ore_T03” for the stats table. An example of what the Compact SMG’s animations should be is the Heisted Run N Gun SMG.
