Hey Guys,
I finished the Barracks Model (Stage 5).
I will move on with the rest of the Stages as well as a model with destruction.

The Flag of the tower is animated now.
I know that the lot could need some more detail, but i didnt wanna push the polycount too far.
Some bushes and rocks would have been nice…

As Freestyledork already said, i use Softimage for modeling and UVW unwrapping.
Photoshop and Pixplant 2 for texture work.
Also Mudbox for painting and organic stuff.
I just grab pictures from the web and create tileable textures out of it.
From a single Diffuse Texture i create all other textures.
The Ambient Occlusion Map is baked out in Softimage and multiplyed on top of the Diffuse Map in PS.
For the Floor (Grass) i painted in Mudbox several Layers and use the eraser to let Layers shine through.
For fine to medium bumps/normals i usually use textures since a normalmap is anyway just fake and flat.
Modeling such details would be absolute overkill.
I do that only for Displacement Maps. And on top of that i use Normalmaps.
