[COMING SOON] RPG Template

Not sure if you are familiar with these from the Unity asset store. Excellent RPG systems that I have used extensively and a good place for inspiration and suggestions of things to be implemented. Since I am in the process of porting my projects to Unreal your Kit looks very promising. looking forward to more pics or vids showing the different systems in action.

Take a look at these if you have not yet.

I do believe that demo level is on the way. Can’t wait to get my hands on that.

Hey Everyone,

There have been a lot of updates and I’m currently working with the people that have already purchased the template to make it have a high level of documentation with sample levels and also tutorial videos outlining as much of the template as possible. This is going to take a couple of days, and most of the features are implemented. I ask for just a little more patience so I can finish documenting everything in video form!

EDIT: I also need to edit the master list. I’ll get around to it once I’m done with some business I need to take care of for my main project today.

Any update on this? The youtube Video didnt show much of rpg yet

hey,

I liked of the many things shown in the video, including Stats attributes in default properties tab. Spells really has a cool decal and particle effect, it’s a targeting system? It is possible temporarily locking the shooting at an enemy?

Has a widget for LevelUP animation and XP gathered? Has SkillTree?

If all continues to go very well, can be sure 100% Guaranteed!

Sorry, been busy testing with my early users. All of those will be implemented. I just haven’t gotten around to making a level up animation. There’s a decal to show where the AOE spells hit. A video update will be done soon as soon as the template moves out of testing. The videos currently are only provided to my early users, since they provide info on my Blueprints and their structure(which I definitely don’t want to do. A targeting system is in place, but it is being tested by me before being pushed to the actual release. There will be over 40 min of tutorials going over most aspects of the template. A teaser trailer will be made once I’m done with documenting all the features.

EDIT: Skill trees have been implemented. There’s a ton of stuff in testing right now, and they need video documentation, so it’s going to take just a bit longer.

cool,

Thanks, for replying

so I’ll have a better idea to see how is possible to implement here.

, How are you doing, seems you are behind schedule a bit, any updates? TY.

I’m currently beta testing things are progressing.

Truly interested in this project will likely buy through the sellfy link in a few days! It sounds like you are providing excellent support for your product! Just out of curiosity how in-depth are the tutorials and do the tutorials assume a specific knowledge set other than basic blueprint and c++ in an UE4 environment?

You only really need basic knowledge of the layout of Unreal really to get things working. Things like knowledge of the outliner, etc, are absolutely necessary. Right now, most of the key components are complete, but I’m getting things tested for Quality, and eliminating bugs in order to make sure the project is stable across multiple configurations to the best of my capabilities. That’s part of the reason why it’s taking this long to hit a release. For the C++ version of the project, you’ll have to wait a tiny bit while we finish fixing the blueprint version. You need to have basic knowledge of Visual Studio and how to compile if you want to use and help test out that portion of the project.

fantastic I am comfortable in a visual studio environment and with the basics of the Unreal 4 engine. I am completely comfortable working through and adapting to the different iterations of the template. The framework I have seen thus far looks like it can get me far into my own development cycle before I would hit the current boundaries of the template as it is.

I am being honest when I say @is one of the most decent people I ever met in development, he will literally work with you and help you in any way possible. I wish him huge success and if you need a product like this then you should buy from him for his support and backing of his product alone.

Purchased , looking forward to getting into it tonight

Hey,

Did you have updated the TODO list at the beginning of this thread? I wonder what are the new things you have added more. And with Marketplace accepting ***plugins ***in C ++, you plan to sell your kit there, in the Epic’s Marketplace.

.
