Clothing string out to gizmo

Summary

My metahuman works fine on its own. I record mocap and import the animation into the level sequencer. But when I add this shirt, a string is visible out to the MH’s gizmo. It’s a problem with the clothing mesh. Anyone know what this is?
I have the Num LOD at 4, the Forced LOD at 1, the min LOD at 0.

Having the shirt on my character without a string attached to its gizmo

please try “developer assistant” on dev.epicgames.com/community/assistant/unreal-engine, which is very powerful and I have been able to resolve some problems instantly.
