Cloner Actor not Rendering

Hi all!

Creating a small animation (not a game) using Motion Design and its Sequencer. When I use a Cloner Actor, all looks good in the viewport (the light wall behind the mic), but the cloner object will not render, also not visible when I hit play/simulate. Even a standard/default cloner doesn’t display in render. If I take my cloner mesh out of the Cloner, that renders fine?! Not sure what I am missing here. Attached is a screenshot from viewport edit, screenshot of a rendered frame, and my movie render queue settings (actually seems I cant attach files to this post, so I got a screenshot of the console vars I use for rendering - although I tried with default rendering settings and still no cloner).

Using latest macOs and latest UE.

Any help or suggestions are truly appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

Hey Chris, I was having the same problem and found that disabling nanite fixed the issue

I dont think I even nanite enabled but I will check. But now UE is doing ever more weird ■■■■ on me. In my scene I wanted to play with fire, so I checked my plugins, enabled fluid for Niagra, and then my whole scene became this great big bright piece of ■■■■, which I cant figure how to turn of?!

Even with all lights off, I get this weird bloom/exposure?! But I didnt change a single thing?

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately that did not fix my issue.

Delete the DefaultEngine.ini and rebuild. The only thing that worked for me.

Did you ever find an answer for this? I am on a mac and have resorted to screen recording to see what i have produced.

Hey, same issue here, I have to screen record my sequence… If anyone have any idea
