Class Items are not granted at game start when setting default class

Summary

In the class Designer, I’ve set class slot to 1 and set an item in the list (a pistol for example).
Then in island settings I’ve set default class to 1.
All settings apply corectly (health, movement etc)
But the pistol is not in player inventory.

Steps to Reproduce

The set items for the class will in player inventory

You might have to enable the grant on respawn option. I remember something weird i had with this setup tbh months ago in the end i just used the team settings device works every time.

You can also use a item granter.

Hey thanks for the reply, yes there are a few workarounds with other devices. I see this bug since years tho and i thought I should finally report it. Even with these workarounds would be much cleaner if that simply gets fixed.

What happens if you click the equip the granted item ?

Nothing, i already set that to equip first item

try another weapon could be the pistol

In the recent past after launching a session (Auto Start Game enabled) - I’ve needed to 'End Game" and then Start the game again for this to work.

Does it give you the item when you do that?
