The respawn suddenly started working after enabling last team standing and changing the spawn setting to “spawn on next round” for a temporary fix to other bugs. However, the respawn was working normally with the old settings before 37.00 update. So the bug could be somehow related to these 2 settings?
We have the same issue. We have a game that allows join in progress so Island Setting is set to 10. We have the class designer set to 1 and we use Respawn() in verse to bring them back after elimination. Its multiple zones that we control and its a rapid spawn game. We set the players to 1 for spawn limit so they spectate their partner on elimination. So spawn limit 1 is critical so they dont respawn on a spawn pad. Since 37.00 they respawn in lobby and ignore the class designer spawn setting. From my understanding the hierarchy is Class, Team, Island Settings. With the 37.00 update this hierarchy seems to not work anymore.
