Citizen Pain | Action in First-Person

I’ve published the second part of the Citizen Pain walkthrough. In the Hub, I recommend buying a potion so it’s easier to reach the Stage 2 boss with at least one life remaining. I played more seriously than usual and finished the stage with an S Rank.

Great work.

Thank you!

Stage 3 is tackled here, and it’s probably the first level that’s truly tough and very long, which requires a good amount of consistency to avoid getting hit too often.

For first-time players, it’s almost necessary to have at least 2 potions, so you can reach the boss with at least a full health bar. It’s essential to break every crate you come across in order to heal as often as possible.

A new enemy appears, the wolf, whose long-distance lunge attack is very dangerous. The advice is to dodge it sideways or simply block the hit (trying to parry it is really tough).

The boss, Volg, has a very dangerous attack, the red slash, which has a very short startup and covers a large area from a distance. The winning strategy is to stay as close to him as possible (using the invincibility state gained by parrying enemies), since Volg is unable to block attacks, so when he’s on the ground you can hit him repeatedly.

I’ve started a new project! I’ll still try to keep the Citizen Pain devlog updated (there are still walkthrough videos and maybe future updates), but for the new project, you can follow me here:
