Cherry Blossom petal particle generation

So I hope the URL i included works… but, I’m trying to generate cherry blossom petals that have fallen into the crevices of cobblestone… Some suggestions I’ve had are to either use a cavity map somehow (not sure how I would do that for individual petals) or use Unreal’s foliage painter and paint on the petals… Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated! I would put that into the texture, you can probably be able to do that with a Substance material where you could make more petals appear in the cracks.

It is almost impossible to make it with particles.
Yep, use overlay texture in floor material.
Generally you could use inverted heightmap of floor tiles, or some special mask.
