Hi @SKAIdragons ,
Time in UE5 DOES NOT count to Fortnite times you should have a light blue icon with “Unreal Engine for Fortnite” on taskbar anything else is wrong and you CANNOT FN publish from UE5.*
Stay in UEFN
Read the
Fortnite Developer Rules - Epic Games
Squid Game Brand Rules in Fortnite | Fortnite Documentation | Epic Developer Community
read the UEFN Brand Templates, Open UEFN, Select
Restart your PC and login
Launch UEFN from Epic Games Launcher
Select Minigame Mastery Template from Brand Templates
Make sure the Project Path point to local drive NOT OneDrive
like “C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Fortnite Projects”
Select name like ProjectName “GuardsVsPlayers”
Dont select a team as this is just about getting the game running, you can add a team later
Dont turn on (untick) Revision Control as you have nothing unique here
Click Create
To test fully open up an Mobile Phone, connected to Wi-Fi, with Fortnite
Start Fortnite on Phone
On UEFN Next to the Launch Button click the three dots and select Connect to Platform
If you dont have a Phone you will just have to use Local PC Fortnite and use Alt-Tab keys to switch between UEFN/FNC
Click Launch
This will take up to 15 minutes sometimes 30 with PC running Fortnite as well
When the game is running
Run forward through the first down run around bit
Click End Game and wait until stopped, seeing the green start game icon
then watch for
This will be successful because you are using an example
Click “Upload to Private Version”, using above picture Enter details as below, Click Upload
Screenshot the new Private Island Number
Click Done
Leaving PC with UEFN with the Minigame above running overnight.
Put the Phone on Charger
If you have extra assets from some where else
When this works and Creator works make a version and click the Create Teams and add team members
