Checking "Affect Distance Field Lighting" on foliage crashes editor

Hello there,

I plastered my landscape with a lot of trees and now I would like my foliage to generate distance field ambient occlusion. To do so, the documentation says that I have to check the option “Affect Distance Field Lighting” inside the foliage actor.

But when I do so, the editor immediatly crashes with an “out of memory” error.


I have a Radeon R9 200 / HD 7900 and 12 GB of RAM, so that shouldn’t be the problem, right?

Any help is appreciated.
