Character Attribute System

Thanks for all that info… The latest version should have working replication, it sounds like its not downloading correct files… Ill look into it tonight, in terms of updates, i wasnt planning on adding any features except fid possible bugs and make it compatible with major engine releases. Regardless ill look into the issues you mentioned tonight, but it sounds like launcher isnt downloading the correct version. If thats the case ill upload it again and pm link to anyone who can provide proof of purchase

We have been haveing issues, after we migrated over to 4.11 and 4.12

In 4.12 it is not showing at all.

I’ll post an update in few hours regarding whats going on, if its a bug, or if the marketplace files are out of date.

There indeed seem to be some issues in multiplayer in 4.11 and 4.12, i started working on update , as well as server/client versions of all the main commands, regarding the HUD, the sample HUD indeed isn’t multiplayer enabled, but I assumed people would make their own HUDs. so i did not bother going deeply into it ,and when I added multiplayer support (which works as long as you call the functions on server, thou you have to do that yourself) I forgot to adjust the sample HUD to work with it.

I’ll have an update ready in day or two, which will include compatibility update for 4.11 and 4.12, as well as hud adjustment and making sure it works with multiplayer out of box.

working on an update, this time making sure that functions are properly called on server and stats are replicated to clients, ill be looking for testers, so if you interested, and have purchased the system in past, let me know and ill get you a copy.

Glad to know that you are quite trimmed to try to develop a more complete system. My game will have two modes, one campaign mode and mulitplayer mode with various maps with different game modes, it will be a third-person shooter RPG game. Only one thing I’m thinking about the interactive tutorial that comes with the Character Attribute System, this tutorial is quite different from the youtube video. Probably the Youtube video shows a more correct way to integrate it, but needs some revision, and it’s very outdated. The Character Attribute System was integrated in less than 15 minutes in the first person template following your Youtube video. But it worked with a bad and terrible lag following the interactive tutorial

I think this missing an [FONT=Arial Black]Showcase Map in your package with all functionalities and hud example implemented, I prefer it more than the youtube video and interactive tutorial. At least I may be using the showcase implementations as an example to integrate it into another project.

So how do you transfer system between levels?

Save the value of the stats array in game instance and load it back out when new level loads, i can post screenshots if need be

Hey guys, there will be an update over next month or so.

Finally found some time to get more bits of the system done.
The functionality will be the same, but it will come with “correct” multiplayer support and updated character widget.

Hey, sorry i got stuck with a bug in the new update, on dedicated server it causes infinite loop crashes, once I manage to get that fixed, ill be releasing an update, in the meantime you can use the current version in 4.15 without any known issues.
