Character Animation looks different compared to animation preview files

Hi Everyone! I have a question about character animations. I would like my character to have a hit reaction if they are hit by an attack in my level. I am using one of the Paragon characters and animations from the Epic Store. The preview of the front hit reaction animation looks fine in the original animation file. However, when trying to play the animation in game, or in an animation montage file, the animation will look completely different. The upper body of the character will be stuck in a V-Pose while her lower body will move to the side instead of stepping backwards. Does anyone have any advice on how I can resolve this problem, so the animation will play correctly? Thank you!
