Chaos Cloth Cache Double Transform

Hello!

I’ve created a long jacket Cloth Asset in UE5.5. I’ve successfully recorded a Chaos Cloth Cache after following this helpful guide, and I’m attempting to assemble an animation sequence after prepping the rest of my scene. Though if I attempt to reposition blueprint (or the skeletal mesh component) that the Cache manager is referencing, the active parts of the cached cloth sim undergo a double transformation. They tear off the body but still playback the cached animation.

Are there any steps/settings that I missed or concepts I misunderstood? Or is it a situation where the caching needs to occur at the very end of assembling the sequence and all of the animation needs to be locked?
