changing Path Tracer settings of multiple views before export ?

I have multiple views saved in my project; can all of them (or selected ones) be changed the level of Path Tracer etc?

For example, work with the Medium Path Tracer setting and just before exporting for many views increase the Path Tracer to high?

The new Viewport Resolution Scaling functionality in the preferences is ok, but it's not the same.

I would like to work with Path Tracer Low (Pref>Viewport Resolution Scaling>Path Tracer 100%) and export multiple views with Path Tracer High.

There's no way to do that yet - and it's a big limitation in my view. Global changes to all saved views would be a huge improvement. One of my projects has 50 saved views - all set to Pathtrace High. It takes a very long time for them to refresh when opening the project - would be nice to change them all to not Pathtrace, or Pathtrace Low - or archive them not be refreshed.

TM already has a similar solution for video. The Settings button allows you to change global settings for multiple frames.

In the case of saved views, it is best that you can select views for global settings in the same way as you select views for export. That would be a great solution! 😃

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. If you haven't done so already, please make sure to submit this feedback on the roadmap here so the developers can track this and consider making this a change for future updates.

Best,

* maybe the simplest thing would be to enter a shortcut like [Shift+R] or [Alt+Shift+R] etc to quickly freeze and unfreeze Path Tracer activity of all views, videos etc that have Path Tracer mode enabled:

freeze_pathtracer* view slides from Path Tracer can display Path Tracer freeze status:

* before the Export process, the frozen state of Path Tracer can be quickly unfrozen with the same shortcut, e.g. [Shift+R] or [Alt+Shift+R]
