First the Wiki (erased, no warning), then the Forums (rendered useless, still), now the Marketplace Reviews and Comments (no warning, “solution” months away).
I get that all these things need to change for one reason or another, but…
When are you going to learn to CONSULT THE COMMUNITY BEFORE MAKING MAJOR DECISIONS THAT EFFECT EVERYONE? It would go SO much smoother…

We’ve had a couple cases where sellers had trouble with notifications working as expected, and toggling options on and off seemed to resolve it. We have never implemented a similar system for customers to get notified, and it currently remains in the backlog.
A few posts above yours I described a way to verify via email automatically, so it’s absolutely possible. It’s not ideal though, Epic should have a system in place.
The Review System should be used for actual, constructive reviews, and not just as a mechanism for verifications. Sellers cannot require buyers to leave a certain type of review in order to get support. We prefer that sellers can use the question system for verification at this time, per this post.
Reviews that only contain Discord verification should be posted in the questions section until an official verification system is implemented. Once the user is verified, the seller can report the question and let the Marketplace team know it is resolved and we will remove it.
If our community reports abuse of the system, we’ll review and moderate as appropriate.
I have raised this issue already last year in January. The marketplace team acknowledged it was against the rules promised to solve the issue “soon”…
Then crickets and one year later nothing has been done about it. Worse yet, reporting these fake “verfication” reviews does nothing … you have to go through the trouble of submitting a marketplace report through the form and then hope they will actually do something about it.
It gives you the impression that Epic / the marketplace team doesn’t care about this problem … or the miriad of other problems.
Oh is this why I can’t pay for anything on the marketplace or add funds into my account, so it got my old account locked out so I had to make a new one, because of the changes and “Improvements”. I guess that explains it.
