I was in need of this today (preferrably outside of Editor Scripting, but I’ll take what I can get) and only found this old thread:

what do you mean by out of the Editor Scripting?
There is a “Set Actor Label” function but you need to be in editor: use a Editor Utility Widget Blueprint for example.
Ah, silly me, I was searching for it in a regular Blueprint, thanks.
I linked that thread because in my case, the items I want to rename don’t exist until I hit play (I monitor them visually while debugging in the outliner, so it would save me time to have them named after a property of my chosing).
