Can confirm. It has my project stopped dead in it’s tracks
I’ve tried stasis before and after the sit code.
I’ve tried disabling exit before and after.
I’ve tried a combination of all these and more with no luck. It’s a problem.

FORT-986568 has been ‘Closed’. This is working as intended by design.

good design then, force eject without any possibility to block it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

What? What does that even mean? Explain what you mean by “As intended”

Hey there! To give a bit more insight, NPCs were never intended to be able to function with the Chair Device due to how they are set up, so the eject is what we would expect to happen. However, the Test Players should be able to use the Chair Device - if we are not seeing Test Players able to use it, then that would be a bug we’d need to address.

That’s the confusing part as most people will assume any npc agent can interact with anything that accepts :agent

They used to sit ok until one of the updates if I remember correctly I reported 6 months ago so maybe some time around that.

Also in Lego odyssey npc can sit . It is perfectly normal that if a chair is taken by npc then player should not be able to take it.

then what is the reason for the function to have argument as agent instead of player?

imo Anything that takes :agent should allow for that type in the game ie npc/test players ect

Its abit confusing tbh as npc can interact with like vfx device ect

If the NPC agent intended to be unable to sit in a chair,
It would be nice to add a comment to the chair device.
