Cascade Beam + SubUV Compatibility?

Trying to achieve a more complex effect, but I can’t seem to get SubUV functioning with Beam Data. The SubUV works fine on a separate system, but identical settings in the Beam Emitter don’t yield anything. I’m curious to if this is supported or if I’m missing something. I can post setup pics if they’ll help, are required, etc.

I ended up creating a procedural generated system to run though this. SubUV wasn’t required for the desired effect.
