I am wondering how it is you create the cartoon style models you see in some games. I’m think of games such as borderlands or the cartoon tree pack you can buy for ue4. Is it something you do in the engine or are all the assets created like that before in max? It’s an interesting art style but I can’t quite find much information on how to create it. Thanks for any help.
its usually done using cartoony textures on your model then after you’ve imported everything into UE4 use post process to add the black outline.
