Carryable device exploding for no reason, no matter what.

Summary

The newly introduced Carryable Device explodes after a few seconds, even with damage deactivated. When carried it will explode even if the carrying player stays in place. It may stay idle for a longer time than carried before exploding.

Add a carryable device and deactivate “carryable takes damage”
Grab it and wait a few seconds.

Expected Result

It should not explode after a few seconds.

Observed Result

It explodes.

I tried many settings and kept the default unmodified mesh.

Are you able to reproduce this in a new blank level?

Hello, sorry for the late answer. I tried it in a blank level and couldn’t reproduce the issue. I’ll be testing it further the following days.

Hey there I’m also having this issue.

I noticed when I added an ocean to my level, I disabled the option to be damaged when touching water but still the issue is present. Can’t really replicate but I believe the landscape did it, will delete landscape and update you later.

i have this issue too, happens if u have water on your island and u are below water level, i don’t know how to fix yet, lmk if you find a way

I removed both the landscape and water layer and the problem persisted.

So add an ocean to the level and that might reproduce the problem with them exploding

@Clovv.MP4 In my case it was the ocean. It collides even if it is far away and has collision with water set disabled.
