Capsule shadows with RayTraced Distance Field Soft Shadows

This would be great to save performance on multiple dynamic lights.

Any news on any progress? I’m sure I’m not the only one hoping for this feature. Currently dynamic shadow casting lights are super expensive, DF shadows are cheaper but without any shadows for skeletal meshes it looks kind of weird… I’m prototying a stealth game concept where enemies throw flares and chemlights to illuminate the player’s position, and DF shadows are the only feasible solution (regular shadow maps are too slow).
