I have spoken with the developers and currently, there aren’t any plans to support ‘flat’ normals for landscape. However, there is an extension for it but that means that only some hardware/API has the feature and we really can’t rely on it.

I see, thanks Sam, I’ll then try to create a simple tile normal map to emulate it then. I was trying to use VertexnormalsWS and splitting the components so I could the exact normal values to then use as a normal. but no success either that way (unless I’m missing something)
