Resubmitting does NOT work in all cases.
I had some assets with the same problem which did work after resubmissions. Yes. Sometimes resubmissions work for some assets if you keep trying. Other assets will not work no matter how many times you resubmit. Trust me. I tried.
I resubmitted hundreds of times. I resubmitted from completely different machines using completely different internet connections. I resubmitted on different times of the day and on many different days. I resubmit every now and then in hope something has changed on their end but it never did and support does not even bother.
To be honest Fab does not seem to be a priority for Epic. I suppose they are losing money on it and are not dedicating any serious effort to it hence issues like this or like the other bug other developers complain about (Customers buying assets and then when downloading getting a different asset!). Things which seem pretty basic and should have been fixed long ago but which are not unfortunately.
I will probably upload a duplicate asset to fix this. I did not get any help from support.
